A letter from Dr. Jose Almeida to IVC Miami Exhibitors
As we gear up for IVC 2026, we are excited to introduce some innovative changes to the meeting format and offer new sponsorship opportunities that align with the latest trends in healthcare management and patient treatment.
Of course, this is a VEIN meeting- 3 full days of venous disease in the CME general session. We've added a concurrent session in a second ballroom for office-based physicians specializing in superficial disease, covering strategies to thrive within the challenging insurance-based healthcare system. In addition, we are thrilled to announce the introduction of a concurrent session held in a third ballroom focusing on ultrasound and arterial disease—an excellent complement to the interests of physicians who treat deep venous disease in hospital settings.
One of the highlights of this year's conference is the introduction of "device and disease" sessions during the CME general sessions. These sessions will feature detailed case discussions that spotlight specific devices, such as the Closurefast RFA. Presenters will explore the rationale behind device selection, present clinical data supporting its use, and provide a comprehensive breakeven analysis—including cost considerations, optimal service sites, and expected reimbursements. These will be offered only to those sponsors providing unrestricted educational grants to the meeting.
Moreover, we've transitioned to a new management team, bringing fresh perspectives and driving innovation at our conference.
We would love to discuss these developments in more detail and explore how you can play a pivotal role in this year's event.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to deepen our partnership. I look forward to our continued collaboration.
Warm regards,
Jose I. Almeida MD, FACS
