In 2027, IVC celebrates its 25th annual meeting. Founded by Dr. Jose I. Almeida as the International Vein Congress, it has brought clinicians together for more than two decades.

The meeting began as a forum for discussing emerging venous therapies and the practical decisions behind patient care. That spirit continues as the International Vascular Congress broadens the conversation across venous and arterial practice.

IVC’s academic relationship with the University of Miami Department of Surgery connects that heritage with a continuing commitment to education and the next generation of vascular specialists.
